Jemma Rawson

Hi, I'm Jemma and I'm very proud to say that I run Tots Play in the Liverpool South East area.

I am originally from Manchester but have lived in beautiful Liverpool for many years since attending university here - more years ago than I care to remember! After university I met my partner Jay, and we had our little boy Finn in 2017 and our little girl Jorgie in 2019. I have been Cabin Crew for over 10 years but previously to this I was a baby room manager in an outstanding children’s day nursery and then I went on to do my Assessors qualification teaching children’s care, learning and development NVQ's in a city centre college. As much as I have loved my role as Cabin Crew, I always knew I would go back to working with children in some way when we started our own family.

I have always had a passion for working with children and one of my favourite quotes is "A child's world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement!". I believe that spending time with children whilst providing new and exciting experiences is a really magical thing to be a part of. It also means so much to me that as a class leader I can share some of the most precious times and experiences with you and your little ones. I attended lots of pre-school groups with my own children, and learned first-hand about the huge positive impact they have, including promoting new friendships, supporting positive mental health and helping parents to form strong bonds with their new baby as well as supporting their all round development . I love Tots Play because it is such an excellent 'all in one' programme and the experiences it provides are so unique and special in helping promote not only physical and cognitive learning and development but so much more too!
