Georgie Eggleton

Hi, my name is Georgie and I run classes in Farnham and Alton. I live in Alton with my husband and two daughters, Poppy and Daisy.

After more than 10 years working as an accountant in the corporate world, I knew going back to work after maternity leave for the second time was going to be hard. Leaving Poppy to go back part time was difficult so leaving them both was hard to comprehend. I knew I wanted a career that enabled me to work around our girls, allowing me to spend time with them and watching them grow up. While on maternity leave with Daisy I found Tots Play and knew this was something I loved, and I decided that starting my own business was the way to make the change required to get that work life balance I’ve always wanted. 

I attended all sorts of baby and toddler classes while on maternity leave with the girls. I really enjoyed spending quality time with them, watching them develop and grow, make their first friendships and meet like-minded mums to have adult conversation with. Having attended all these different classes Tots Play really stood out to me. I loved the mix of activities and Daisy responded well to the class format. Sign language, Baby Yoga, Sensory Play, Baby Massage and Singing all in one place, what is there not to love!

I love being around babies and young children. Watching them grow and develop into beautiful little people is a real privilege and one that shouldn’t be taken for granted, they grow up so fast. I have loved bringing Daisy to Tots Play and wish I had found it sooner so Poppy could have also enjoyed it.
