Hi, I’m Nikki and I’m beyond excited to run Tots Play classes in the Ribble Valley area. 

I’ve always been passionate about working with children. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2012 and, prior to joining Tots Play, worked in schools with children, from Reception age right up to Year 6. I love planning exciting lessons, making my own resources and seeing the look on a child’s face when they experience or learn something new.

In 2018 I had my eldest son, Rory. On the 3rd June that year, my whole world changed. My number 1 priority was Rory and although my passion for teaching remained, I found myself getting increasingly frustrated with my work-life balance. I knew I wanted to work with children but I needed to find an alternative that I could fit around family life. In 2020, Jay was born. My lockdown rainbow baby gave me the push I needed to finally take a (quite scary!) leap of faith. 

During some late night googling, I came across Tots Play. I’ve taken both my boys to various baby groups over the years but I’ve never been to anything quite like Tots Play and I was instantly drawn to the idea of all my favourite activities (baby yoga, massage and sensory plus even more!) rolled into one. I knew Tots Play was a perfect fit for me straight away. 

I cannot wait to welcome you and your tot to my Ribble Valley classes. I hope that they will allow you to build an even stronger bond with your little one, give you ideas for play at home and help you to develop a much-needed support network of friends who are all going through the same things as you are.  All of this, whilst playing and having fun!
