Marvellous March at Tots Play

We hope you have enjoyed the month of March with all the madness it brought! Who would have thought that we would have had so much snow!

I am sure your little ones enjoyed seeing it, some of them for the very first time, and hopefully you got out to have a play too. It certainly brought the opportunity for some fabulous sensory experiences, exploration and creativity. Even our very own Totsy Monkey got in on the act. Here he is making snow angels in Birmingham!

We apologise that so many classes all over the country had to be cancelled or rearranged but the safety of you all must always be our priority, and we are crossing our fingers that Spring is now in sight and Summer not far behind!.

It has been an eventful month in other ways too.

Awards

You might remember us mentioning that Tots Play as a franchise and one of our lovely franchisees had been nominated for the Mum and Working Awards. Well the fantastic news is that we were runners up, earning highly commended awards, in both categories.

Huge congratulations to Tracey, who has only been running her business with us in Chesterfield for a few months, and thanks to all of you who supported and voted for us in the Franchise category, it really means a lot to us all.

We are also excited to announce that another of our franchisees, Fatema in Birmingham, has been nominated for an award with Hoop.

These are brand new awards celebrating people and organisations that go above and beyond to entertain, educate and inspire children, so we are thrilled to be involved. To win though we need your help!

What You Tell Us

We love to celebrate our franchisees and their hard work, which is why it is always lovely to see you all acknowledging their dedication and effort made to bring you all the best possible class they can by leaving lovely reviews.

Easter Sessions

Easter sessions will be taking place all over the country in the next week or two, some will be Easter specials and others will be Easter themes with in your normal term time classes (there will be additional spaces in some should you wish to take a friend along, contact your class leaders for more information) You can find out all about the classes running in your area by selecting your local area HERE or by contacting your local class leader directly.

Our Tots in Ashby and South Derbyshire have already been enjoying their Easter Themed sessions with the lovely Sarah.

While in Cardiff, our franchisee Kate was very excited to be invited along to the John Lewis store to run some special Easter sessions as part of their fun day. She even got to meet Peter Rabbit! Here's a little of what they got up to..

This month our Tots are loving ……. Bubbles!

Bubbles are always a favourite part of all of our classes, but did you know that they have many benefits including helping to develop:

Hand and eye co ordination
Gross motor skills
Language skills
An understanding of cause and effect and basic principles of physics
and much more...

Most importantly are all about having fun.
