Magical May at Tots Play

So May finally brought the sunshine with it (Well for some of the time anyway). The changing seasons are always a great opportunity to explore new ideas for play times and enjoy new experiences with your little one. You can find ideas at class, on our blog (try these Spring ideas from our recent post), and all around you when you venture out and about. We have been busy planning lots of summery themed classes for you for the months ahead too, and lots of our summer holiday classes are already available to book. Check with your local class leader for more details of what's coming up in your area.

Another Month Another Award

A huge congratulations to our Kettering Franchisee, Amy Donovan for not only being nominated but for becoming a finalist in the Muddy Stiletto Awards. Fingers crossed for you Amy and hopefully we will be bringing further good news next month when we find out the results. However we are extremely proud and grateful for all of these nominations, it inspires us to keep delivering you sensational classes.

New Classes

May saw some of our new Franchisees Launching their classes and we are very excited to be able to contuinue to bring the Tots Play programme to new areas. Congratulations and welcome to Georgie in Stafford and Rugeley, Jane in Hunts Cross and Ayten in West Wickham. Here are a few pictures from their first sessions. Great job Ladies! A Very Royal Occasion

Unless you have been hiding away you will probably have heard the news about the Royal wedding happening in May. Some of our Tots decided to join in the Celebrations to wish Harry and Meghan all the best on their special day.

This month our Tots are loving...

Colours! One of the things we explore at Tots Play is colour! Colour, it's one of the most noticeable attributes of the world around us.

For babies and small children, understanding colour is an essential building block they will use for learning in all areas of their life. Colour recognition can provide children with essential learning tools in life. As children learn to identify colours and use colour as a language tool to describe things, it develops and strengthens their ability to communicate effectively. Not only will you find lots of opportunities for your little one to explore colours at classes, you will pick up simple ideas to continue the fun and learning at home too. Helping you make the most of play time is what Tots Play is all about!

Picture of the Month

It was very difficult choosing just one Picture this month, there were so many gorgeous babies and children enjoying themselves. We went with this lovely pair enjoying playing with the foil blankets. Lots of the fun you have at Tots Play can be carried on at home through our readily available resources. Ask your class leader about any items in class that you might want to add to your home sensory and play collections.
