July Jaunts

July is here and so are the summer holidays. The weather has been glorious (with some much needed rain this week). July sees the end of term for many classes and a Summer break for lots of us, however we have plenty of Summer fun still to come with Special one off sessions running in many areas - see more about these below. So what else has been happening this month at Tots Play, let us tell you all about it.

Award Finalists

Thank you so much to all who voted and supported us in the What's On 4 Kids awards. We are proud to announce that we are finalists!!!! The winners will be announced in October and we will be sure to update you all, but for now we want to say another HUGE Thank you.

New Franchisees, New Training centre

This is an exciting time in HQ as we not only bring you yet more Tots Play Franchisees and classes. We have had such a lovely weekend training these lovely ladies and helping them on their journeys to being business owners and members of our expanding Tots Play family. Fantastic job ladies, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all. Introducing Shelley from Portsmouth North, Gemma from Eastbourne, Claire from Doncaster East, Hanna from Northampton, Jodie from Walsall and Laura who will be taking over Amy’s classes in Kettering while she is on maternity leave.

Not only did we welcome a new group but we did it in style! Introducing you to the new Tots Play training centre. It’s all very exciting here in HQ as we just keep getting bigger and better.

Saturday Classes and Dads

It has been so lovely to see so many Dads attending the sessions and especially the Saturday classes with their little ones. Dads often miss out on the fun activities as they go back to work, Saturday classes are a great way for Dad to be able to join in the fun of Tots Play and all it has to offer. Mum is welcome along at the same time but many Dads come on their own to enjoy the time bonding with their child while Mum gets to have some time alone (I would say rest but we all know you probably did the cleaning or washing instead). Saturday classes are available on selected dates in various locations across the country. Check with your local class leader for availability in your area.

This month our Tots have been loving …… Our Summer Sessions

With sessions up and down the country the summer sessions are a great way to sample Tots play to see how much fun you can have. Most of our sessions have a theme to the sensory Play part to include beach parties, teddy bears picnic, festival or summer fun. These sessions are mostly being offered on a pay as you go basis, so why not find a class and join in. Here are some pictures from our region of the month The North East and Scotland, where the Tots have been enjoying some festival fun!

Goodbyes are always hard

We love watching your little ones grow and seeing them hit every milestone along the way, we have watch so many of you from tiny babies grow into to walking, talking independent toddlers. At Tots Play we are so proud and honoured to be a part of this journey with you. While we love seeing you grow up and be ready for school and all the fun you will have, the goodbye is always hard. This month we say goodbye to one of our own little Tots Sam in Caerphilly’s niece is all grown up, below are a picture of when she started and her last session.

We love hearing all about your experiences at Tots Play and how you and your little one have enjoyed and benefitted from the classes. This month we it is the turn of Laila from Coalville who gave us 5*

"I attended the Discovery Tots class run by Kate with my daughter. It was such a lovely, friendly group and I learned a lot. The signing, massage and yoga is a great bonding treat for mum and baby but all of the activities are well thought out, laid out beautifully and it is a great idea to have everything set out in stations so baby can explore different things and move around and try something new. My daughter is now crawling so I look forward to taking her to the next stage - from seeing the photos and from already experiencing Kate’s attunement to the needs of everyone in her group, this is something that I know we can really look forward to. I’d definitely recommend Kate’s Tots Play classes to anyone wanting to find an affordable group to go to with your tots"

This month is the turn of a lovely family attending classes with Sarah in Ashby and South Derbyshire. This Mum has attended BD, DT and ST with one or the other of her little boys at some point - and it was lovely to see them all enjoying our Teddy Bear’s Picnic together .

New Classes

Our Franchisees are always working hard to bring you the best classes possible and to give you as much choice and variety. We have many new venues and days launching each term, this September in no exception. Not only are there new franchisees starting but out existing ones are growing all the time. This has been another action packed month! The only thing left for us to say is a great big good luck to two of our franchisees who have now started their maternity leave, Ayten in West Wickham and Amy in Kettering (classes will be continuing to run in this area though, so don't worry!) Wishing you all the best for the birth of your babies, we can’t wait for news of the newest Tots Play arrivals.
