Dazzling December
Dazzling December
‘Twas the week before Christmas and all through the towns.
Parents were rushing and spending their pounds.
The presents were bought and placed under the tree,
the children were busy with a Christmas party (or three).
The children will soon be snuggled in bed,
with images of Totsy dancing in their head.
There is one thing left for all of us to do,
Wish a very Merry Christmas to all of you!
Can you believe it is almost time for Christmas and a brand New Year! Where has 2018 gone? Thank you so much for your support and love that you have shown us in our classes, to our class leaders and to help us win our fabulous awards. Tots Play just wouldn’t be what it is with out each and everyone of you wonderful people.
So, let’s get on with celebrating this month and the end of another year.
Christmas sessions
So many of you have been enjoying Christmas sessions and parties these last few weeks, the pictures that we have been seeing on all of the local area pages have been extremely cute and magical to see. It has been incredibly difficult to choose just a few to show in this newsletter. We hope you have all had as much fun as we have!
Our Feature Blog this month
What else could it be about other than Christmas! In fact, Christmas sensory play. After the presents have been opened and chocolates have been eaten why not make use of all of your decorations to have lots of fun at home with your little one. Making treasure baskets is always fun for our little one to explore lots of colours and textures with out impacting your bank account. Christmas is full of fun, light, colours and textures offering an amazing sensory experience. Take a look at the blog for more detailed ideas.

This month we are loving … foil blankets
Foil blankets are a great replacement for wrapping paper, scrunchy and enjoyable without the dangerous of being eaten, and just take a look at the pictures for how much fun they can be!
Foil blankets are very tactile and visually stimulating for all of the senses. Add mirrors or lights for a visual impact, different textures for an all round touch experience or simply let them scrunch away for an all round sensory treat - no wonder we (and our Tots) love them so much!
If you are taking your little one to visit family or friends this season and need something portable and easy to take to keep them entertained, a foil blanket is perfect!
Your class leader will usually have a stock of foil blankets for sale or visit online store to get your hands on one.
What you Tell us
We love hearing all about your experiences at Tots Play and how you and your little one has enjoyed and benefited from the classes. This month it is the turn of Gemma in Eastbourne. Kim Louise Sherress gave this lovely recommendation after attending her classes.
“We've just completed our Baby Development course with Gemma and we would highly recommend Tots Play to any new mummies out there. Gemma is warm and welcoming, with a wealth of knowledge to share about the importance of play. We have learnt many invaluable techniques from baby massage to sensory play as well as calming strategies that we use at home each day.
We have had such an enjoyable time with Tots Play and look forward to joining you for Discovery Tots next week!”
Our Picture of the Month
So many gorgeous pictures to choose from this month making my job enjoyable and difficult. Here is the final choice, our very own Franchisee Sam in Caerphilly enjoying a chat with some beautiful, festively dressed, babies in one of her classes.
