I'm Laura and I'm delighted to lead classes for you in Stafford. I have always enjoyed working with children and was a primary school teacher for the several years.

I had my first daughter Amelia during lockdown in 2020, which is when I discovered Tots Play. Initially I was worried about attending classes; what if my baby needs feeding or changing? What if my baby cries all the way through? But I have never felt so welcome! Not only did the classes give me a chance to meet other new mums and share our ‘weekly wins’ or offer advice but they were a great bonding experience, especially as a new mum. The classes also provided me with so many ideas for how I could engage with and help my daughter develop at home. The classes had everything in one with baby massage, baby yoga, sign language, music, sensory play activities and more.

Even then I knew I wanted a change in career but it was during my maternity leave with my second daughter Nancy in 2022 that I realised that making change had become a priority. Nancy absolutely loved the Tots Play classes I took her too each week as a baby. Her little face lit up every time she saw Totsy and sang the welcome song. Attending Tots Play again helped me to decide that I wanted to be a part of the Tots Play family; helping other families in their parenting journey, and that's what brought me to being here for you now.

The classes truly do provide a special bonding experience and memories with parents and their babies and toddlers. I also found that the classes were great value for money as each session provided me with useful knowledge and had each element to help aid my baby's development - an invaluable resource as a new parent.
