Hello, I'm Kerry. I live in Paddock Wood and I run Tots Play classes in Tonbridge and Paddock Wood!

Firstly, a bit about me. I moved to Paddock Wood in February 2021 with my lovely husband, Jean, and our little frenchie, Pepe. After living within Central and Greater London, we were thrilled to move to the 'Garden of England!' We have loved exploring all of the surrounding areas. In September 2022, we were blessed with the arrival of our baby boy, Aron 'Baby Berg.'

I loved taking him to our weekly Tots Play classes. Who knew that playing with a baby could be so simple, fun and engaging for everyone. We felt a real buzz and excitement and seeing him grow and develop each week was indescribable. We learnt through play and so many different activities - massage, yoga, signing and the use of a variety of sensory items. Each session has had so much to offer. After a difficult start to motherhood, each session was great for my mental wellbeing, being able to socialise and celebrate our small parenthood wins in each session, as well as seeing all of the babies develop. It was that experience that made me want to be able to bring the same benefits to our local area by opening classes here.

Prior to running Tots Play classes, I was an Assistant Head Teacher at a Nursery and Infant School, which also valued the importance of Play. Being in class and watching the children persevere and show determination was so rewarding. Although I loved my job, I needed something that allowed me to play and see my son develop as much as I wanted to be.

​

So, to keep my passion of child development alive and to build relationships with other parents/carers in the local community, here I am! I cannot wait to welcome you to Tots Play and for you to come and join in the fun. I will shower you with exciting and simple ideas to play and bond with your precious little one(s), whilst watching them grow and develop. So come along and join in the fun.
